Industrial Mills
Supplying & Providing Grinding Mills in Iran by FITCO
Mills are placed at the final stage of the grinding process. Typically, during this stage, particles are reduced from initial dimensions of 5 to 250 mm to dimensions of 10 to 300 microns.
Since the highest amount of required energy is consumed in crushing and grinding stages, optimal dimension of the final particles is highly important in controlling the energy consumption. Over-grinding is not only economically Undesirable, but also causes problems in the later stages of the operation.
Grinding is carried out in two ways, wet or dry. The choice depends on the industry and the type of mineral material. In the wet grinding method, when the material enters into the mill, there is also a channel for water to enter to the mill. The grinding environment in the concentrate production line is wet and the size of the grinding is controlled by a hydrocyclone. When a wet mill is used, the output is a slurry that usually contains between 30 and 50 percent water and the rest is floating particles.
FITCO Company, being aware of the high costs associated with this process and the emergence of significant operational expenses, has taken action to supply various industrial mills of the highest quality as a leading mining equipment supplier in Iran, as well as the operating as oil and gas equipment and renewable energy supplier in Iran.

Types of Mills Supplied by FITCO
Autogenous Mill
Autogenous means self-propelled and refers to a mill that does not use crushing balls or rods, and the grinding load comes from large pieces of the material.
Semi-Autogenous Mill
Semi-autogenous mills are mills in which some metal balls are added to the feed material to increase grinding force. Materials are ground to a size of 0.5-1 mm by an autogenous or semi-autogenous mill.
Ball Mills
The ball mill looks like a huge cylinder. Ball mills are generally installed horizontally and are filled with steel balls to turn the material into a soft powder. The hardness of the balls will be determined by their chromium percent. The degree of fineness and coarseness of the final material depends on the speed of rotation of the mills.
Rod Mill
A rod uses a number of steel rods in a rotating drum to create the crushing force. It is similar to the mechanism of ball mill..
